Twenty years ago, I walked through the doors of

P.L. Bolin School and fell in love with learning. Now I'm back as a Brave, teaching third grade in my childhood third-grade classroom and loving every moment!

I grew up here in East Peoria attending Armstrong, Bolin, CJHS, and EPCHS. After high school graduation, I attended Aurora University where I earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education. A few years later, I found myself back at Aurora University and earned my Masters in Educational Leadership in the Spring of 2019.

I established my Etsy business a little over a year ago, so I spend much of my free time painting and customizing shoes for my favorite community: teachers & students!

My husband and I have been married for four years. Joe is a math teacher at East Peoria Community High School. Together, Joe and I have two sons. Gibsen is three years old and Hayes will be two in January.

I look forward to every school year,

but I think this one will be the best one yet!
